Special Educational Needs

At Bathampton Primary School, we are committed to the personal, social and academic development of all pupils. Our staff work together to ensure all pupils, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), reach their full potential.

We recognise that many children will experience difficulties of some kind during their time with us. These difficulties may be in an area of learning or may be social or emotional. We aim to work closely with parents and carers to identify any difficulties quickly and to support both the child and their family to help overcome these difficulties.

If you are concerned about your child’s learning, your first conversation should be with your child’s class teacher as they work with your child on a day to day basis and therefore know them best.

To find out more about how we support children with a Special Educational Need or Disability, please read our SEND Information Report and Policy below. If you have any further questions, please contact Mr Jack Griggs (our SENDCo) on 01225 465229

or SENDCo@bathampton.bwmat.org
